Frequently Asked Questions
Vivid Metal Prints
Why Vivid Metal?
You will experience my photographs in a new definition and clarity with Vivid Metal prints. These are show-stopping conversation pieces that add an artistic edge and contemporary elegance to any room in your home or office.
Where are the images printed?
I use Miller’s Professional Imaging, one of the finest professional print labs in the U.S. This is the only lab I use for all my Gallery Exhibits and the only lab I use for my fine art metal printing.
What is the printing process?
Vivid Metals undergo a series of coating procedures prior to printing. There are minor variations and imperfections on the surface of the metal that cannot be controlled. While every effort is made to reduce their visibility, remakes will not be done for these imperfections.
What should I use to clean my Vivid Metal print(s)?
You can use a soft cloth or a micro fiber feather duster. I recommend that you do not use chemicals, cleaners, or abrasive cloths on your metal print.
Will the metal rust?
No, Vivid Metals will not rust.
Can my Vivid Metal print be displayed outside?
Direct sunlight will fade images printed on Vivid Metals, so I do not recommend displaying them outside.
What happens once I place my order?
Within 2 business days after your order has been processed, the photographs you selected are sent to the photo lab for printing.
The images are printed, then what?
The lab ships the finished Vivid Metal prints directly to me. After they are received, the prints are thoroughly inspected by me and personally signed (front, bottom right corner). Prints are only sent to you when they have met my approval.
